Why use a Personal Trainer?

Okay you've taken the first step to staying active and healthy.  You got a gym membership!  What next?  Are you going to play it safe and stay in the cardio room and machine room?  Do you have the same goals every year and never meet them?  Do you know where your body is at on a physical level?  Here at Legacy Fitness we offer a FREE fitness screening so you know where you are at and where you need to go.  We also have an awesome personal training team!  One of our trainers can help get you where you wanna be.

The benefits of a personal trainer (exercise professional) is to get you started in the right direction.  Have a old injury or a health issue?  A trainer can tell and show you exactly what you need to do for YOU and your body!  They will teach you proper technique and form to stay injury free and get the max benefits of your time spent here in the gym.  A personal training can be your best friend  in this process of meeting your goals.  Not only can they keep you motivated and accountable, but they can boost your confidence in the gym.  With them you can improve your health and fitness in the fastest, easiest, and most successful way.

Schedule your FREE Fitness Screening today and get started with a QUICK START Personal Training Package!!!!  Lets reach those goals before Summer starts!

Monday Blues.....Cant we just call it a new begining?

So it's Monday.  Slack off over the weekend with the way you ate or did you sit inside all day because it's January and we live in OHIO?  It's so hard to stay motivated and get back in to the swing of the gym even when you take two days off.  After you take that first step on the treadmill or that first rep of the machine it all comes back.  The feeling of accomplishment, the push to get to your goal. Awwww the feeling you get when you finish your first workout for the week.  A new begining that feels like you can take on the rest of the week eating healthy and getting your gym time in.  Bring it on Monday.....in fact bring on the whole week!

Just a little insight on what our gym is about:

"Our Passion, Your Legacy"

Mark Woodring, the owner of Legacy Fitness, has been in the gym industry his whole life. He has opened major corporate chains from L.A. Fitness, Urban Active, and 24 Hour Fitness to name just a few. He contributed to these gyms across the nation and has made them as successful as they are today. Several years ago his mother passed away from ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, an idiopathic disease with no known cure. A couple years later his father then passed due to cardiac issues. Soon after, Mark left the gym industry and got a job behind a desk as a salesman. Within a couple months he knew that he was not satisfied for what he settled for. A couple months went by and Mark gained motivation and found a purposeful meaning to what he has to offer. Mark realized that it is never too late and life is too short.
With the inheritance his parents left behind, he decided to open his own gym. Legacy Fitness will not be like your ordinary “corporate machine”. All members will come first with their best interest in mind. The gym will provide a feeling of belonging to its members. As Legacy Fitness grows within the community, he will be donating to local charities, the American Heart Association, and to the Lou Gehrig’s Foundation in honor of his mother and father. With Mark’s passion and strength, he has the ability to offer local residents a familiar feeling of being taken care of. Just like his parents cared for him.
Welcome to our new Legacy Fitness Blog!  Follow for updates on new classes and info at our gym!
Tonight we have Zumba with Josie at 8pm and Saturday morning @ 8:30AM is Cardio Kickboxing!
